Capcom has rolled out a significant update for Monster Hunter Wilds, primarily addressing a range of frustrating bugs that have affected equipment customization and the collection of monster parts. The full patch notes for Version 1.000.05.00 are detailed below.
Since its launch at the end of February, Monster Hunter Wilds has impressively sold over 8 million copies. While the game has been well-received, players encountered various issues that hindered their hunting experience. Although a substantial content addition is slated for Title Update 1 next month, the current update provides important fixes.
Key improvements in this patch include the resolution of a glitch where cut-off monster parts would inadvertently transform into parts from different monsters, and fixes for problems that would reverse equipment customization changes in the Equipment Loadout menu.
However, Capcom acknowledged additional issues that will not be addressed in the upcoming patch, which include:
– Network errors occurring when firing an SOS flare right at quest commencement.
– Link Members not being prioritized over other players or appearing in specific locations, including Base Camps.
– Palicos with blunt weapon attacks not inflicting stun or exhaustion.
– Hunter Profiles failing to edit properly on certain occasions.
Monster Hunter Wilds is currently available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
