Darasimi, the estranged wife of comedian Ganiu Morufu, known as Ijoba Lande, has publicly addressed allegations of infidelity. She clarified that her interaction with popular Yoruba Nollywood actor Babatunde Tayo during a “Truth or Dare” game, organized by her friend, was misunderstood.
During a recent interview with social media personalities, she responded to claims made by her husband, who alleged in a viral interview that her infidelity involved at least 21 men in the entertainment sector. Among those mentioned was actor Baba Tee.
Dara firmly denied the cheating accusations, asserting that infidelity was not the cause of their marital breakdown. She detailed an incident last July when she met Baba Tee at his home for a casual gathering. Although no alcohol was available, as the situation unfolded, a game of “Truth or Dare” was suggested, leading to a series of events that Dara insists were misconstrued.
“I only sat on his lap; we didn’t do anything,” she stated, emphasizing that her husband was aware of her fidelity. She challenged him to provide evidence of any infidelity during their marriage.
Dara indicated a reluctance to discuss the true reasons for their separation, citing personal matters, but firmly stated, “It wasn’t about infidelity.”
In a separate admission, Baba Tee acknowledged a brief sexual encounter with Dara during the game, attributing his actions to intoxication. He publicly apologized to Ijoba Lande, expressing regret over the situation.
