Step 1: Hold down on the message you want to translate
Press and hold on the message to reveal a menu of options, including “reply,” “forward,” “copy,” “translate,” and more.
Step 2: Click “translate”
After selecting “translate,” a prompt will appear on your first attempt informing you that the translated message will be generated, and emphasize that your message data will be shared for this purpose. Click “OK” to continue.
Step 3: View your translated message
The translated text will appear directly beneath the original message. For example, if a friend sends you a Spanish lyric, the English translation will display right below.
