Mayawati emphasized her commitment to the principles of self-respect and dignity inspired by the revered Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, and invoked the discipline tradition of the esteemed Shri Kanshiram, declaring Akash Anand’s expulsion necessary for the integrity of the party and its mission.
Previously, Mayawati expelled Ashok Siddharth, Akash Anand’s father-in-law, for fostering division within the BSP. She attributed weakened organizational strength to his actions, particularly in light of recent events surrounding his son’s wedding, which she claimed threatened party unity. Such actions were labeled as intolerable, leading to his departure from the party.
