Feb. 21, 2025: As Team Jamaica Bickle (TJB) gears up for its 31st year at the historic Penn Relays, preparations are underway to ensure another successful year of support for Caribbean athletes. Founded by a prominent Jamaican immigrant advocate, TJB remains dedicated to providing essential assistance for athletes and coaches competing in Philadelphia.
To bolster its initiatives, TJB will host the highly anticipated 2025 “Black Tie Gowns & Sneakers” 3.1 Labor of Love Gala Fundraising Luncheon on Sunday, April 13, at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York, commencing at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are priced at $200 per seat, with an early bird special of $175 available until February 28th.
This year’s gala promises an exciting lineup of entertainment, special guests, awards, and surprises under the unifying theme of “Our Athletes, Our Ambassadors.” TJB’s founder emphasized the organization’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the welfare of athletes, aiming to create a safe and supportive environment for all participants. “The core of our efforts has and continues to be the welfare of our athletes,” he stated.
