Dune: Awakening is set to launch on May 20, 2025, and will be available on PC for $49.99. The announcement was accompanied by an impressive new trailer that highlights the vast landscapes of Arrakis.
In addition to the release date, Funcom has made the character creation tool available for download now. This free tool includes a benchmark mode, enabling players to design their characters and test their computer’s compatibility with the game.
Players who create characters prior to the game’s release will have the ability to import them into the full version in May. Early users of the character creator will also receive a code for an exclusive in-game Frameblade knife skin.
For enthusiasts looking to secure their copy early, Funcom is offering additional in-game rewards for preorders. Those who preorder Dune: Awakening will receive the Terrarium of Muad’Dib, a unique decorative item for in-game bases featuring the native desert mouse of Arrakis.
