ECNETNews, February 19, 2025: Hilton is poised to enhance its footprint in the Caribbean with the opening of two highly anticipated hotels in 2025, providing travelers with a range of luxury, lifestyle, and budget-friendly accommodations throughout the region.
This June, Hilton will launch the Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton in the Dominican Republic, followed by the Hampton Inn by Hilton St. Thomas, which marks the brand’s debut in the U.S. Virgin Islands this quarter.
The Hampton Inn St. Thomas is set to make history as the first new hotel development in the U.S. Virgin Islands in over 30 years. This property represents Hilton’s first focused-service hotel in the area, and it highlights the brand’s expansion into the Caribbean and Latin America.
Strategically designed to complement Charlotte Amalie’s Danish colonial architecture, the hotel will feature 126 rooms catering to both business and leisure travelers.
In addition, Hilton plans to introduce over 25 lifestyle hotels across 10 countries and territories, including Trinidad & Tobago, tailored for travelers seeking immersive cultural experiences. The company is also set to launch its flagship and focused-service brands, with significant openings anticipated such as Hilton Georgetown and DoubleTree by Hilton in Guyana by 2027, marking an exciting debut in that market.
As Hilton expands throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, travelers can anticipate a diverse array of new luxury retreats, all-inclusive resorts, and budget-friendly options, underscoring the company’s dedication to meeting the evolving needs of travelers in the region.
