ECNETNews is excited to announce the highly anticipated lineup for the 2025 Roots Picnic, hosted by The Roots and Live Nation Urban. The festival will be headlined by music legend D’Angelo alongside The Roots, with co-headliners Meek Mill and Lenny Kravitz. The event will feature an impressive roster of artists, including Pusha T, Glorilla, Tems, Kaytranada, 2 Chainz, Miguel, Latto, and many more, taking place at the Mann in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, on May 31 and June 1.
Highlighting the 2025 festival will be a special performance by Jeezy, celebrating the 20th anniversary of his iconic album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Musiq Soulchild will commemorate the 25th anniversary of his classic album Aijuswanaseing, while The Roots will perform selections from Do You Want More?!!!??! in honor of its 30th anniversary. Additional performers at the festival include Adam Blackstone, Backyard Band featuring CeeLo Green, Kur, Elmiene, Rich Medina, Crystal Waters, Lay Banks, Jermaine Dolly, Laila!, Funk Flex, Diamond Kuts, and DJ Aktive.
