Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy has unveiled a captivating new single titled "Swoon," featuring a collaboration with acclaimed musician Trent Reznor. This track will be part of Murphy’s upcoming album, Silver Shade, set to release on May 9. The song, produced by Youth, showcases a mesmerizing blend of both artists’ distinctive sounds.
In a statement, Murphy expressed his excitement, stating, “I am both in the state of swoon as are my audience when witnessing my live performance.” He added that Reznor’s contribution enhances the track, particularly in the second verse, where his backing vocals create a unique vibe.
"Swoon" follows Murphy’s recent collaboration with Boy George on the track "Let the Flowers Grow" and marks his first solo album since 2014’s Lion.
