Grasshopper Manufacture, the renowned developer behind the No More Heroes franchise, has issued a plea for fans to stop visiting its Tokyo office without prior appointments. The studio, founded by Suda51, has decided to postpone an upcoming episode of its Dev Room series, citing concerns that it could lead to an increase in unannounced visits.
The company clarified its position on social media last week, stating that it “simply isn’t possible” to accommodate surprise visitors during work hours. Fans are urged to refrain from dropping by the studio without business-related appointments.
Established in 1998, Grasshopper Manufacture is celebrated for beloved titles like No More Heroes, Killer7, and Lollipop Chainsaw. Most recently, the studio released Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered, showcasing its unique and humorous style. Looking to the future, Suda51 has indicated plans for the Switch 2 platform.
No More Heroes 3, previously a Nintendo Switch exclusive, expanded to PlayStation and Xbox platforms in 2022. While there have been expressions of support for the Switch 2 from third-party developers, official game announcements remain pending. Anticipation builds for a potential reveal during an upcoming Nintendo Direct.
