Jakarta, ECNETNews – Jennifer Coppen is currently navigating profound grief following the sudden passing of her husband, Dali Wassink. Despite the change of year, the emotional scars remain, significantly impacting her mental health.
Following the unexpected motorcycle accident that claimed her husband’s life, Jennifer has been frequently traveling overseas for medical consultations, convinced that her stress-induced symptoms had manifested into various health issues. “I’ve had to go back and forth to hospitals, in Singapore and Thailand, thinking that I had a disease due to the prolonged stress and mourning. It has led to frequent panic attacks, palpitations, and a feeling of impending doom,” Jennifer shared recently.
This overwhelming situation has also led Jennifer to worry deeply about the welfare of her daughter, Kamari. On one hand, she grapples with her own health concerns, while on the other, she is determined to be there for her child. “I feel a constant anxiety, especially since Dali’s passing. It’s not just about my absence, but what will happen to my daughter,” Jennifer expressed.
In light of her fears, Jennifer has been proactive in planning for her daughter’s custody should anything happen to her. She intends for Kamari to live with her brother and sister-in-law, emphasizing the regulations surrounding custody in Indonesia, which prefer children to be raised by married guardians. If necessary, she has identified trusted friends who could take care of Kamari in unforeseen circumstances.
