The World Snow Sculpting Championship took place in Stillwater, Minnesota, from January 15th to 19th, 2025. The Mongolian team, named “Team Falcon,” triumphed with their winning sculpture titled “Voice,” marking a historic first victory for Mongolia in this prestigious competition.
The talented sculptors Ts.Batmunkh, B.Govisaikhan, and A.Ikhbandi represented Mongolia with exceptional artistry.
The event was hosted at Lowell Park along the picturesque St. Croix River, featuring twelve teams competing from various countries, including Mexico, Taiwan, Finland, and the United States.
The final results of the championship were:
- First Place: Team Falcon from Mongolia with their sculpture titled “Voice.”
- Second Place: Team JetSet from Mexico for their work “Trapped.”
- Third Place, People’s Choice, and Artist’s Choice: Team Taiwan for “Whispers in the Breeze.”
Prior to this victory, Mongolian sculptors excelled at the 36th Harbin International Ice Sculpture Competition, held from January 2 to 4, 2025, at Harbin Ice and Snow World in China, where they secured one gold and one silver medal among over 60 competitors from multiple countries.
