ECNETNews reports that a highly anticipated release date has been set for the horror romantic comedy Your Monster, produced by Vertical Productions and featuring Scream VI star Melissa Barrera. Since its debut last October, the film has received acclaim from both critics and audiences, achieving a Certified Fresh rating of 78% based on 88 reviews.
The film centers on Laura Franco, a soft-spoken actor who, after being dumped by her boyfriend during her recovery from surgery, retreats to her childhood home. As she grapples with her uncertain future, she discovers that her ex is staging a musical she co-developed. Amid this turmoil, she encounters a monster (played by Tommy Dewey) who inspires her to pursue her dreams and embrace her inner strength.

Your Monster will be available for streaming on Friday, January 24, exclusively on Max, with its broadcast premiere on HBO scheduled for Saturday, January 25. The cast also features Edmund Donovan, Kayla Foster, Meghann Fahy, Ikechukwu Ufomadu, Brandon Victor Dixon, Taylor Trensch, among others.
