Lucy Dacus is making headlines with the announcement of her highly anticipated fourth solo album, Forever Is a Feeling, set to release on March 28 through Geffen Records. This marks her first solo project since the acclaimed 2021 album Home Video and her Grammy-winning work with Boygenius.
In an exciting reveal, Dacus has shared two new tracks from the album: "Ankles" and "Limerence." The music video for "Ankles," filmed amidst the picturesque backdrop of Paris and a museum, features Dacus in a striking red Rodarte gown as she creatively navigates the space while playfully interacting with a museum guard.
The upcoming album will feature a total of 13 tracks and includes collaborations with Dacus’s Boygenius bandmates Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, as well as other notable artists such as Hozier and Blake Mills. The artwork for Forever Is a Feeling, inspired by Renaissance religious art, was designed by visual artist Will St. John.
To support the album, Dacus will embark on a North American tour starting April 16 in Philadelphia, with a lineup of cities including New York, Toronto, Nashville, Chicago, and Dallas, concluding on May 14 in Los Angeles. The tour will also feature special guests Katie Gavin from Muna and Jasmine.4.T.
In a philanthropic effort, Dacus is partnering with Plus1, donating $1 from each ticket sold to aid those affected by the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires through the Plus1 LA Fires Fund. Fans are encouraged to check Dacus’s tour schedule for more information.
