California is currently facing severe wildfires, particularly in Southern California, where fires have rapidly spread across the Los Angeles area since early January. The situation has been exacerbated by hurricane-force Santa Ana winds, low humidity, and ongoing drought conditions, displacing thousands of residents and inflicting substantial property damage.
World Central Kitchen, recognized for providing meals to disaster-hit regions, along with GiveDirectly, which offers direct cash assistance to affected communities, will be the main beneficiaries of Ripple’s generous donation.
