ECNETNews – On January 2, 2024, Indonesia’s Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, was appointed as the Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Alumni Communication Forum (FKA) ESQ, succeeding the late Kuntoro Mangkusubroto and Sugiharto. This appointment took place during an audience session with the founder of ESQ Corp, Ary Ginanjar Agustian, at the Ministry of Culture’s meeting room.
In his remarks, Fadli Zon encouraged all parties to advance the national culture and the cultural identity of the Indonesian nation, in line with the constitutional mandate to promote Indonesian National Culture.
“With the presence of the Ministry of Culture, we collaborate and synergize to make Indonesian culture more vibrant and to strengthen our cultural and core values in reinventing Indonesia’s identity,” he stated.
FKA ESQ currently has over 2 million members from the alumni network, spanning across the globe.
Ary Ginanjar urged everyone to participate in nurturing and reinforcing Indonesian culture as a national identity. He emphasized, “Let us strengthen Indonesian culture together and rediscover our identity as Indonesians.”
Forum Komunikasi Alumni ESQ (FKA-ESQ) is an organization dedicated to contributing to the vision of a Golden Indonesia. The forum plays a vital role in fostering grassroots economic development toward the goal of Indonesia Emas 2045.
Ary Ginanjar noted that FKA ESQ has successfully supported the first phase of the Golden Indonesia 2020 initiative, characterized by the Presidential decision regarding the Core Values of ASN BerAKHLAK in 2021. This decision signifies the nation’s awareness of the importance of character as a foundation for national development.
“With the establishment of character as the foundation for building Indonesia, FKA ESQ views this as a crucial step toward the next phase aimed at achieving a prosperous Indonesia by 2030,” he explained.
He further added that to realize the vision of a prosperous Indonesia by 2030, all members of FKA ESQ and the alumni across Indonesia will become catalysts for the economy, guided by the Moral Framework of 165 and the Ethical Principles of the 7 Main Virtues: Honesty, Responsibility, Discipline, Vision, Cooperation, Justice, and Compassion.
“The goal is to achieve economic progress rooted in humanity, oriented towards serving God, and ensuring justice for all Indonesian citizens, fulfilling the promise of independence and realizing the vision of a superpower Indonesia by 2045,” he concluded.
