France Transfers Control of Its First Military Base in Chad

The Chadian army announced that France has officially handed over its first military base in the country as part of the ongoing withdrawal of French forces. This significant transition occurs in Faya-Largeau, located in the northern region of Chad. The army confirmed the transfer and noted that updates regarding the withdrawal of French troops from other bases, including those in Abeche and the capital city of N’Djamena, will be provided to the public.
