The Dream Center of Tampa Bay was thrilled to host NFL quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily Mayfield as surprise special guests during a Christmas celebration for the Dream Center Kids, “Dreamers.” As part of their inspiring “Pass the Joy” initiative, the Mayfields brought holiday cheer, encouragement, and generosity to the community.
The festive afternoon kicked off with a delicious meal provided by Tampa’s beloved Hattricks restaurant, followed by engaging games run by the Dream Center staff. There were plenty of prizes, courtesy of 5th/3rd Bank, which added an extra dose of excitement for the Dreamers.
The highlight of the event was an empowering message from Baker and Emily Mayfield, who shared about resilience, giving back, and spreading joy. They challenged the students to “be the reason someone else chooses to smile this holiday season,” leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
In true Christmas spirit, the Mayfields surprised the Dreamers with a visit from Santa and an abundance of gifts. Each student received an exciting present – ranging from LED scooters to Beats by Dre earbuds and Sephora gift sets – along with hundreds of dollars in gift cards.
