Thousands of displaced residents from Gaza are returning to the devastated southern city of Khan Younis following the conclusion of a week-long military operation.
According to Palestinian health officials, 42 bodies of Palestinians, who were victims of the incursion in the eastern part of the city, have been recovered.
The Israeli military reported that approximately 150 militants were killed during the operation, along with significant seizures of weapons and the destruction of tunnels used by armed groups.
