INGLEWOOD, Calif. — On Saturday, a shocking incident occurred when a vehicle crashed into a CarMax location in Inglewood, injuring eight individuals.
According to officials, two of the injured sustained critical wounds while the remaining six individuals were reported to have minor injuries. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded swiftly to the scene.
Footage circulating on social media captured the chaotic aftermath of the crash, depicting a damaged SUV reversing into the building before an employee swiftly exited to assist. The vehicle then maneuvered through a lobby area and exited from the back of the establishment.
Initial reports suggested the potential for an active shooter situation; however, authorities later clarified that this was not the case.
