FALL CITY, WASH. — A tragic shooting incident in Fall City, southeast of Seattle, has left five individuals dead, according to law enforcement officials. A teenager has been taken into custody following the event.
The King County Sheriff’s Office reported that emergency calls began flooding in around 5 a.m. on Monday, alerting authorities to the shooting. Responding deputies apprehended one teenager at the scene, while another was transported to a hospital in Seattle due to injuries. Both teens resided at the house where the incident occurred.
Upon entering the home, deputies discovered the bodies of five individuals, which included two adults and three young teenagers. The identities of the deceased have not been released at this time.
“This is a hugely significant crime scene,” stated a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, emphasizing the importance of the investigation.
Preliminary reports suggest that the shooting may involve family members, though specific relationships have yet to be confirmed. Authorities indicated there is no ongoing threat to the surrounding community.
“I have no reason to think that there will be any additional arrests,” the spokesperson added.
Residents in the area reported that a couple and their five children lived at the scene of the incident, with one neighbor expressing disbelief and sorrow over the tragic event. Sheriff Patricia Cole-Tindall also expressed her deep sadness and concern regarding the shooting.
