Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Betta Edu, has conveyed an optimistic message to Nigerians, heralding 2025 as a pivotal year for the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Tinubu.
In a New Year address, Edu emphasized that the upcoming year represents a unique opportunity for restoration and growth, where dedication and hard work will lead to shared prosperity across the nation.
“2025 stands before us like a chapter in a book waiting to be written. It is essential for us to fill it with optimism and hope, as this New Year brings a fresh start to realize our dreams and aspirations,” Edu stated.
She expressed confidence that 2025 would mark the end of the hardships faced during 2024, providing a platform for the successful implementation of Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria.
“2025 holds tremendous potential for our nation. It is a time when we will take control of our futures as economic challenges fade, making way for hope and prosperity,” she added.
Edu urged citizens to remain committed to the nation and trust in the current administration’s capability to navigate Nigeria through its economic struggles.
“Mr. President’s intentions are noble; good intentions require time to manifest results. I believe in the Nigerian project wholeheartedly and will devote myself to Nigeria and its people,” she emphasized.
